Sleeper team in the National Championship

Everyone is picking them to win the ACC, but not the NC?

Clemson.

Depending on how the pieces fall, USC beating OSU, USC slipping up later. UF beating UGA, UF slipping up later (and vise versa for both matchups)... Clemson, I have said for a few months now, was my sleeper team to win the ACC, now everyone has picked them to do that, so I will continue my streak to say Clemson could be a sleeper in the NC race.

They return 8 starters on offense, and 9 on defense. This is a sleeper in the midsts...

I think the sleeper in the B10 race is MSU. D'Antonio is a damn good coach. Curtis Painter is back and is probably the best QB in the B10 this year, or at least as good as any other.

I agree with Clemson as a dark house. I LOVE their 2 RB..

Curtis Painter is the best QB in the B10 but he plays for Purdue. I do agree that MSU is the sleeper in the B10 also. I love D'Antonio and I love MSU RB Javon Ringer. He is as good as all the RB in the B10. Beanie is the best but after him Ringer is right there with him as the 2nd best back in the B10 and probably one of the best RB in college football! They also bring Senior QB Hoyer back who had his first year starting last year and put up 20TD and 11iNT. I think MSU surprises a lot of people this year. The only thing that sucks for MSU is they are going to have to replace 2nd round draft pick WR Devin Thomas...dude was a beast!

Here are some of my teams that i think could surprise people this year..

Michigan State - post above

Pittsubrugh - Love their RB McCoy

Texas Tech - Love the QB and WR in Harrell and Crabtee..this team could surprise a lot of people and win the B12.

Auburn - you keep hearing about Georgia, Florida, and LSU but I think Auburn could be a sleeper in the SEC.

I like Tech to give OK a run in the big 12, but they can't really be a sleeper, b/c everyone is on to them. Although, the talk has been sucess in the big 12, not a NC game so... Clemson will choke, they always do.I think both Texas and Texas A&M will be better than people think, Whisky will be great, Mizzou will struggle, Penn State will be a game or two above .500, Mich St will be much better than people think, like BBB says, UGA will have at least 2 loses but will make the NC game to take on OU when they beat LSU in the SEC title game. We will get the shaft this year.





Maybe it should go on the Nerk board, but I think the BCS is pissed at the big 10 and big 12. They would rather stick us to play USC again in the rose bowl, and stick it to the big 10 and big 12. what's teh picking order for the bowls this year? if the rose picks last we are fucked.

I guess you could say Texas Tech is not a sleeper but I think they have a great shot at the Big 12 and I guess that is what I was trying to say...most people think Oklahoma will take it.

My 2 biggest sleepers are Michigan State and Pittsburgh.

It was a tough game to play out of the gate, that's for sure. Still from what I saw, Clemson couldn't get out of their own
