I found this article in my local paper, It was an AP article from C-bus. No link, so I will type it out for you. I found this most interesting.
"With only two weeks left in the season, an unprecedented 10 of 11 Big Ten teams are at .500 or better including Ohio State (10-0), Michigan (8-2), Illinois (7-3), Penn State (7,3), Purdue (7-3), Wisconsin (7-3), Indiana (6-4), Iowa (5-5) Michigan State (5-5) and Nothwestern (5-5).
Seven of those team - the ones with winning records - are bowl eligible. In a neat coincidence, the Big Ten has seven bowl tie-ins this season: Rose Bowl/BCS game, Capitol one, Outback, Alima, Champs Sports, Insight and Motor City Bowls. If the Big Ten Champ or Co-champ is ranked No. 1 or No.2 in the final BCS rankings, then that team participates in the BCS National Championship game on Jan. 7at teh Sugar Bowl in New Orleans."
Sounds like the Big Ten is right on track! Now if we can win all our bowl games, that would shut some people up!
