Let's look at the fact that take away a blocked field goal at the end of the ASU game and Michigan's only loss is to one of the best teams in the country.
I understand that ASU should not have been in the game at all but i don't believe there are many people that really think ASU is better then Michigan it was a fluke. That does not take anything away form ASU they came to play and took advantage of Michigan looking past them.
We are going to be in a huge struggle in Michigan, maybe even more so because of that loss they had to ASU. They are being reminded every day about that loss and know in order to get their redemption it must come in the Ohio State game.
Our saving grace is that our loss to Florida has ignited the same passion for redemption each week to clean the stench of the NC game off our team.
This game is going to be huge and both teams are playing for blood and pride. They have home field advantage, we have Tressel. I'll take Tressel and the Buckeyes.
GO BUCKEYES BEAT wisky, then Illinois, then michigan and then win the NC

Oregon is a great team. And I'm not trying to take anything away from their win in Michigan, but I think the Wolverines were still in a state of shock from the ASU game. I'm not saying Michigan would have won against Oregon, I just think it would have been a little closer had they not lost to ASU. I watched the Oregon game and it was clear most of the Wolverines were just going through the motions. On an interesting side note, there is an outside chance Michigan and Oregon could meet for a rematch in the Rose Bowl.

Totally agree, which is all the more reason for the Buckeyes to be ready for a real rumble in Ann Arbor.
Crofty, I have to tell you that my son-in-law and I were at Eddie George's restaurant after the Michigan State - Ohio State game and in the men's room there are Michigan emblems inside the urinals. I looked all over Columbus to find one for my Buckeye Bathroom but to no avail. I did find some Michigan toilet paper that is now hanging in my Buckeye bathroom.
No disrespect met just great rivalry. I look forward to enjoying the game this year. Of course I hope we clean your clock, but until then keep on winning. I too hope you get a chance to play Oregon again and beat them badly. Hopefully we'll be playing in the National Championship and represent the Big Ten well with a great game and victory.
Iron sharpens Iron, our rivalry makes us both stronger.
I want nobody to beat Michigan except Ohio State.
Now as for Florida I pull for every team that plays them. It was sweet this week as we had a group of Georgia fans and Auburn fans over and we pulled for the dawgs to beat Florida and they were pulling for the Bucks to beat Penn State.
Come bowl season it is all about all the Big Ten teams beating whoever they play.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up. UM got up off the mat after getting punched square in the mouth. For that they have my respect. It really speaks to how good of a coach Carr is too. I just think at this point in the game Tressel is just a little bit better. We shall see.

I thought Michigan losses to App St and Oregon were all just a clever ruse to get us to underestimate you on Nov 17th.
And in the event that we did win, it wouldn't help our SOS, since they were both OOC opponents that don't play teams on our schedule.
The only reason you beat Eastern Michigan on purpose is because they also play Northwestern.

I started this thread because I was expecting Michigan to come right out and crush Minnesota even with injuries to Hart and Henne. They let Minnesota hang around for a while before turning it on. When I made the original thread at 4:31 EST the game was still close.
