Gameday took it to the SEC schedule today

I didn't watch, but I was listening to ESPN radio while driving and it was actually fun to listen to. All the guys were absolutely skewering the SEC for the games they had on the docket today...a bunch of glorified scrimmages. They all basically said it is inexcusable that they are allowed to schedule Div 1AA games in November. I think it was Howard who said this should hurt them in the playoff picture.

Refreshing to see ESPN being tough on the SEC.

I was shocked at what I heard. They didn't pull any punches at all. They were rightfully brutal. Makes you wonder if the negative comments about SEC bias was actually listened to.

No doubt they have heard the criticism. They have actually responded to it on air.

If they weren't worried about it they would ignore it.

Lol @ Corso trying to defend it...but I know what he's saying. From a coach's perspective, an easy game is a good thing. Still doesn't make it right. Corso also seemed like he was having trouble talking. I don't know if that was from the cold or residual from his stroke a couple years ago. I know a lot of fans hate him, but I still like the guy. I hope he's alright.

I feel bad for Corso. He needs to retire. His speech is slurred from his stroke. People who are unaware think he has been drinking.

The SEC is smart when it comes to scheduling. Yes, it is inexcusable to schedule FCS teams at any part of the season, however, if these were not FCS schools today, I don't have a problem with it. They start their conference games early in the year, week 1 this year if I recall, causing a national buzz before most of the other conferences. It also helps take the sting off of inner-conference defeats at the beginning of the year and you genuinely have everyone healthy.

At one point, Corso took his ear peace out and was able to complete sentences and thoughts. I think his stroke may have some effect on him being able to comprehend listening and talking at the same time.

If he wants to continue, he should. The others on set do a pretty good job of covering for him when necessary and I would imagine this job is good for him.

I don't care about the show (don't watch it) but I do like Corso. One of my favorite ex-B1G coaches ever . . .

Once, his Indiana team actually scored first against OSU in the Shoe. He called time out and had an assistant take his picture with the scoreboard in the background.

Funny guy.

It is just sad to see him struggle so much.

There was a moment it was 17 - 14 in the 'bama game. I almost had to dvr it, but remembered dvring anything SEC would melt the drive.
