I read that a few days ago. Not buying this one, at least right now. Definitely believe it is possible but until mainstream media reports it or more corroboration comes on this I'm dismissing this one

Agreed - doing a quick search seems that the stuff may have originated from a bama website. I cannot access the link in this thread from work though due to security restrictions, which also makes me question it as we are not locked down that tight.

They were talking about this on ESPN radio tonight. One guy said if this ends up true there is no way he plays in the NFL. No GM would take a chance on a guy who would shave points.

That was my first thought after reading about this. If there is even a hint of truth to this, his NFL hopes are done.

This guy is either so arrogant that he truly believes he can get away with anything, or he's stupid and doesn't care about destroying a potential NFL career, or both! If any of this is even remotely true, he is an idiot who deserves his own fate.

The insurance policy pays if he doesn't play because he gets hurt, not if he breaks the law.
