The Youngstown State University Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to offer the position of president to James P. Tressel, executive vice president for Student Success at the University of Akron.

The NCAA doesn't care about Div II, or FCS, or whatever the hell it is

Congrats to Tress, regardless of how the media wanted to make him out to be a monster, hypocrite, whatever, that man cares deeply about community and shaping the minds of young adults. He will be a FANTASTIC University President in my opinion, and I hope this is a stepping stone for him taking over OSU in the future!

If he does take that role at OSU some day, I'd advise against him using the 'I just hope Urban Meyer doesn't fire me.' joke.

I don't think it would go over that well
