I just don't know what to make of it this year. Is it really this average? With good teams at top and below average teams in middle/bottom, which makes a lot of upsets?

Last year was great, a lot of great teams. This year?

- Ohio State? No, not great
- Iowa? No, not great
- Wisky? Don't know what to make of them but they're winning a lot again, hottest team in B10 with UM.
- Michigan? Gonna win the B10 with no down low go to guy. They lose Burke, THjr, and McGary, and some how win the B10. I think that shows you how far the B10 dropped off from last year. Their guard play is fun to watch.
- MSU? I still think IF healthy, best team in B10. But Dawson has been out and now has to get back in game shape. Appling looks bad since his injury. He is averaging like 3PPG in 26MPG with 3TOPG since getting hurt. Bad, really bad. Like he went from great to bad. Can he get back to his old self? Not sure, better hurry up. Payne is still not 100%.


Does anyone have any faith in any of these teams making a NC run? I would say and still say MSU is the best option if healthy by tourney time. But I don't know if they will be.

Ohio State & Iowa would be lucky to make the Sweet 16 right now. They both playing average ball lately. Iowa is in a tough game vs Purdue at home, up 1 with less than 8 to play right now.


Good chance B10 only gets 5 teams in the NCAA tourney also. So it is not like it is deep with a lot of good teams. 5. That is it. And the top 5 are good teams but not elite teams.

What say you? Is Big 10 average? Do you think any of these team can make a run in march? And if so, which team do you have the most confidence in doing so?

We are a good conference and should get in more than 5. I think MSU will be final four worthy. We will have a couple teams in the elite 8.

MSU could be in trouble though. If Appling/Dawson both can't get back to former self, they're done I think. Now if those two can start playing well, I like them a lot.

Might sneak 6 in. Minnesota or Nebraska if they can win some late games and not lose early in BTT. Minnesota MUST beat PSU(last game) and win at least 1 BTT game. If they do that, they will be bubble team that could be in. If they lose to PSU or 1st BTT game, I think they're out.

Nebraska has @indiana and Wisky left. I think they lose both games honestly. But if they can win both of those games, they can get in.


I would say if B10 got 1 E8 team, it would be a good tourney for them. Wisky has never been a good tourney team(last E8 in 05), don't see Iowa doing it, sadly don't see tOSU either but could get lucky, Michigan has a chance depending on matchup. Guard play is great.

If B10 gets 2 in E8, I would guess Michigan/Michigan State. A lot of it depends on matchup. RIght now I would predict

UM: Sweet 16 team, lose there.
Wisky: Sweet 16 team, possible 2nd round upset though depending on matchup.
OSU/Iowa: Possible First round upset, most likely lose 2nd round.
MSU: Unknown due to players health.

What was his injury and was is serious? Dude has gone from one of the best PG in CBB to shouldn't be playing at all.

I'm not sure how good they are either. I'm just hoping these guys can fill up the sweet 16 and sneak someone into the Final Four. My money is on Iowa to have the best run. Aren't they 4/5 seniors?

I'll also take scUM going out in the round of 32 lol.

MSU looks like a sweet 16 team. As long as they don't play Duke/UNC they gonna be fine

Depending on matchups, OSU might do well but ofc they have to show up.....which is more likely not gonna happen.

There be some tough teams out there. Cuse, WSU, Duke, Ville, KU, and Texas. I didn't list FLA cause they gonna slapped around when they play a real team. Anyway, gonna be tough for the B1G to win a title. I think Cuse, WSU, and Duke have the best chance at winning it this year. Zona looks like a F4 team but I don't think they beat a WSU or Cuse.
