QB
- Terrelle Pryor OAK
156-272 57.4CMP% 1,798yards 7TD 11INT 576rushing yards 2TD
Pryor had moments where he looked like he could be a NFL QB and then a lot of times where it looked like he is nowhere ready for that level. At least he got some starts this year, he can say he started in the NFL.
RB
- Boom Herron IND
5att 33yards 1rec 57yards
No RB in the NFL for OSU. Very disappointing with how good we have had in college. Boom was on Bengals PS before getting on the Colts active roster. Got some garbage playing time and ST play. Then had a season ending injury late in the year.
WR
- Ted Ginn CAR
36rec 556yards 5TD, 25KR 595yards 26PR 316yards.
- Brian Hartline MIA
76rec 1,016yards 4TD
- Santonio Holmes NYJ
23rec 456yards 1TD
- DeVier Posey HOU
15rec 155yards
- Dane Sanzenbacher CIN
6rec 61yards
Ted Ginn probably has his best rec season in his career. Hartline with his 2nd straight 1,000 yard season. Still missing elite talent here. Holmes is on the downward part of his career it seems.
TE
- Jake Ballard ARI
7rec 75yards 2TD in 8GP
- Ben Hartsock CAR
2rec 30yards. Blocking TE
- Jake Stoneburner GB
Played in 9 games. All ST. 0REC
Good to see Jake Ballard back in the game. Looks like Arizona likes him also. Ben Hartsock still making NFL money in the league as a blocking TE. Amazing.
OL
- Mike Adams PIT - 15 games played, 10 games started
- Michael Brewster JAC - 14 games played, 3 games started
- Rob Sims DET - 16 starts at G
- Nick Mangold NYJ - 16 starts at C
- Alex Boone SF - 16 starts at G
Not a bad group at OL. A lot of starts between those guys. Mangold & Sims have put up long productive careers so far. Alex Boone has been amazing at SF the past few years. Mike Adams has been disappointing at Pit. Brewster undrafted, staying strong in Jacksonville.
DL
- Ryan Pickett - GB
19tackles 0sacks
- Cameron Heyward - PIT
59tackles 5sacks 1FR
- Johnathan Hankins - NYG
16tackles 0sacks
Really sad that Ohio State doesn't have DL in the NFL. Heyward has turned into a productive DL in the NFL. Pickett has had a very productive career but the end is getting close for him. Hankins was a rookie on a deep DL.
LB
- AJ Hawk - GB
118tackles 13TFL 5sacks 1FF 1FR 1INT
- James Laurinaitis - STL
116tackles 8TFL 3.5sacks 2FR 2INT
- John Simon - BAL
4tackles(ST)
- Austin Spitler - MIA
8tackles
- Will Smith - NO
Missed entire season due to injury
2 very good LB for Ohio State in the NFL. Hawk is having his best years and Little Animal has been very solid since coming to the NFL. Adding Shazier could help this group but not very deep here.
DB
- Malcolm Jenkins - NO
68tackles 2INT 2FF
- Donte Whitner - SF
73tackles 2INT 2FF 1FR
- Will Allen - PIT
43tackles 2INT 1FF 1FR
- Chimdi Chekwa - OAK
19tackles 1FR
- Nate Ebner - NE
9tackles 2FR
- Kurt Coleman - PHI
14tackles
Jenkins and Whitner both have good years at safety. they both have had good NFL career. Will Allen still going strong with Pit. He has been in the NFL for some time now. Chekwa got a decent amount of time at CB late in the year. Chekwa, Ebner, and Coleman mainly St players.
ST
- Mike Nugent - CIN
18/22 LG 54 52-53 XP 106pts
- Jack McQuiade - STL
Long Snapper
Some good years for some players, but no elite players in the NFL from Ohio State. We have about 11-12 decent starters and a lot of backups/ST players.
Here are the ones that are still playing in the Playoffs and have a chance of adding a SB!
Denver - 0 Buckeyes
NE- Nate Ebner
Cin - Mike Nugent
IND - Boom Heron(injured)
KC - 0 Buckeyes
SD - 0 Buckeyes
SEA - 0 Buckeyes
CAR - Ted Ginn, Ben Hartsock
PHI - Kurt Coleman
GB - AJ Hawk, Ryan Pickett, Jake Stoneburner
SF - Donte Whitner, Alex Boone
NO - Malcolm Jenkins, Will Smith(Injured)
