Now their fans are kicking him to the curb without so much as cab fare, just because they've lost a few games.

Please Michigan fans, don't fire Lloyd Carr.

We were just starting to like him.

I'm sure you were. However, Michigan would never fire Carr. He is going to retire to a cushy job in the administration and let the Wolverine football program catch up with the trend in CFB. We know exactly where to go for a new coach.
