...and counting.
We both have trap games left. Illi and Wisky could drop either of us. National Championship? It doesn't matter at this point. It's just the last game of preseason now.
On the other hand, a game the week before The Game carries exceptional danger and looming consequences.
So let me ask, how do you figure your chances against Wisky?

Two things - first, you softened them up pretty good for us. Secondly, if Hart and Henne are healthy, we will win. If they are unable to play effectively... not so much
This week is more of a trap game for you. If you lose, it will knock you out of the NC. We already lost the game that knocked us out of the NC September 1. We will still win the Big Ten if we lose to Wisconsin and beat you. Still, we would rather continue our domination of Wisconsin.

Hey man, let's face it. Every week before The Game is a trap game for you and is a trap game for us.
We can quibble about who's trap is deeper and it definitely makes a difference what our records are, how good are the teams we're playing, if we're home or away. But you're kidding yourself if you think one team has "more" of a trap. Shee-it man, The Game itself creates the trap.
Plus, we all know you guys still have a shot at an unshared B10 title. Your seniors want us so bad they can taste it. Those guys won't sleep more than an hour or two any night the week before The Game.
There is huge potential for either of us to get caught "looking ahead".
Still, I like your chances against Wisky. They're hurting bad and they're not as deep as you. Their D surprised me but I don't think they can stop Hart. Henne, I probably would rest as much as possible after you establish a lead.
