If you were Jim Delaney (I just told you *not* to do that), who would you want to win on Saturday?

If Ohio State wins, you have a one-loss team representing your conference in likely the Rose Bowl, but you give up a bowl eligible team.

If Michigan wins (again with the screaming in fear, can you please stop that?), then you have a conference champ that not only lost three games, but one of those was to Appalachian State. But, OSU could possibly garner an at-large bid (just based on attendance draw), which gives an extra Big Ten team a bowl game.

The Buckeyes.....he wants us to avenge that embarrassment from last year for the B10. Outside of that, we're better in bowl games lately than TTUN.

plus, i don;'t think OSU gets an at-large bid with two losses....

You're probably right. In fact, if we lose tomorrow, I think we drop out of being eligible for a BCS bid, with Michigan ranked where they are. I would think then it would be the Capital One Bowl.

you have to be in the top 16 to qualify for an at-large bid. i don't think we'd fall that far - but i still don't think we'd get a bid.

who knows. bowl committees love the bucks - the fans travel so well. OSU has the largest alumni base and most geographically diverse fan base. these things matter when making bowl selections. i just don;t think we could back into a BCS bowl after losing the last two to end the season

I think we'd end up on the cusp. We're currently #7. Michigan is currently #21.
