Does he see a golden opportunity to come in and immediately compete for the QB job, or does he get scared away, thinking that JT's loyalty to Boeckman and the others is a problem?

After the ARMY game I'm pretty sure he's going to choose OSU but with kids you never know. I don't think the game will have a lasting effect but had OSU won last night, he might have rushed to declare. He's going to visit M Feb 1st and by all accounts, RR is a good recruiter.

I still think he's jerking both programs around with all that sweatshirt and helmet sticker stuff. I actually think that if Boeckman had had a great night and we would have won becasue of it, Pryor would thik twice about picking us. I think he wants to play immediately and would not want to wait 2 yrs behind Boeckman and Henton. He knows he'd play quickly under RR, especially if Mallet leaves. Right now, our QB job should be a wide open race in the spring.
I was actually amazed that we didn't even see Henton at all. Not quite sure why, especially since Boeckman was scrambling for his life and failing miserably at it. Henton is known as the more mobile of the two.

Yep, declaring (allegedly) on signing day which is 2/6 after seeing Duke and UM.
Funny you mention the sweatshirt and sticker stuff, BBB -- I heard from a good friend of mine and OSU alum that there were some spread formations put in to the gameplan for OSU last night just to show Pryor they'd run it for him.
His reply to a question about that type of thing was to say, "why change your scheme going into a game for the national title?"
He's not a dummy but he may be "enjoying the process" more than many fans would like.

Interesting....I think he's a rare talent, but I don't like all this BS he's pulling on both programs. Last thing either of us need is more prima donnas!

Tressel has demonstrated that he will pull people if someone else is more deserving. Last night is not going to scare the kid away.

So why didn't Henton even see the field on one series? Boeckman wasn't exactly setting the world on fire out there. What would it have hurt to give the kid a shot?

He could have thrown him in, but maybe he wasn't prepared. We don't know what we have in Henton, throwing him into the NC game and expecting a miracle really wouldn't be fair to anyone.
We weren't out of the game until that last pick, despite what some may think.
Saw that. Can Tressel turn this into a positive to get his signature on the dotted line?
