God, does this guy have an ego or what??? How dare a former player and commentator question CUM losing at home to Mississippi? I guess he needs to use stories like this to take away the attention from his player's arrest records.

Agreed, although at times it almost seems like Herbie goes out of his way to go against OSU, and I think that turns some fans off.

Cincy, this should make you proud that one of your boys made that statement. Very true what he is saying. Meyer has no room to talk about "being a gator." How long has his heart been with the program? How badly did it tear his heart out when they would lose prior to his arrival? Urban needs to show the former players some respect as well. They are the ones who made that program what it is. Without them, UF is just another school.

It did make me feel good, but as much as Miami hates the Gaytors you kind of have to take comments like that with a grain of salt. My favorite of all time was this one by Jim Kelly:

All the sports guys are killing him over this and rightfully so, basically pointing out that he's only been a Gator for a few years. Many are comparing him to Nick Saban and asking if he has a God-complex. No one questions his coaching ability but the man's a little crazy.

I can't exactly put my finger on what I really dislike about Meyer, but I can't stand the man. I couldn't stand him even before these recent comments. I don't know if it is the fact that he was their coach when they monkey stomped us or what it is exactly. Just can't stomach the man.

I can't stand him for a few reasons - one is your monkey stomping comment - that hurt and stung like a pita - another, he coaches in the SEC and the media has me so irritated at the SEC he gets lumped in, and another - he jumps ship to damn much.

I think my problem lies more with the Florida Gaytors than with him. Looking back, there isn't a Florida coach (during the recent years) that I do like. Can't stand Spurrier, don't really like Zook (even though he really is a pretty nice guy...he still has Gaytor on him), and can't stand Meyer. Perhaps it's the school I have issues with...even though I try to supress those issues.
