I have seen them as high as #13. That triple option game, when it is on, is tough to stop and they can beat anyone, but as L$U showed, if you can shut it down Tech is a very average team.

Hey, my old high school runs the triple-option non-stop. Maybe this is why we dominate all year but get beat by the private schools(Colerain, St. Ignatius).

IMO you need two things to stop the option attack like that, speed and good assignment football. When the old Miami teams would play the B12 teams they would kill the option because they were fast enough and disciplined enough to go to their spots and beat the blockers there, thus throwing off the play. Then there was last year, we looked like we had nine guys out there trying to stop GT's option attack. GT ran it well that night though, half the time you could not tell where the ball was...
