So what's Sparty's excuse for looking so bad?

We've struggled offensively but we lost our O coordinator as well as ironing out the QB issues. What's theirs? They came into the season with supposedly the best O-line in the country, a senior 3yr starting QB,and a senior laden defense. Virtually all their their key pieces returned yet they look pretty bad.

I think TTUN rolls Sparty next week.

Yes, but why? I can understand the loss of defensive identity considering they lost Narduzzi to Pitt but on the offensive side of the ball Cook looks like he's regressed 2 years. The offensive line looks average. It's simply confusing. They were supposed to excel in those areas.

I hope Sparty beats meatchican but the evidence does not support this. ANYTHING can happen. Maybe Sparty wakes up for this game then hibernates for the rest of the year.lol

They lost their two top WR targets to the NFL...no surprise their passing game isn't living up to it's billing.

The No-Fly-Zone took a step back last year and they lost their top corner to the NFL.

They also have a bevy of injuries. I think the are missing 8ish starters....including LT Conklin and their starting MLB.

Shame on me.. I was NOT aware of all that..... It makes sense they would struggle with that amount of re-loading....

I'm going to suggest that since scUM might possibly be rising back to being a tough-ish team under that jackwagon Harbaw, Xichigan State must naturally fade back to their normal place of being the lesser team in the least of all states in the union, that trumped up federal mosquito reserve known as the State Up North.

The only thing that doesn't worry me about the two teams up north is they don't have mobile qb's...basically pocket passers that bodes well against OSU's Dline. What does worry me about ttun is the running game and their Dline. The slobs need to really be in tune in 3 weeks.

Only ONE team is allowed to be good from the awful state of M*ch*gan at a time. If TWO teams are good, the world will implode.

Well let' be honest, MSU has been overrated for a few years now. Their bigger games the past few years, their defense got shredded (OSU, Oregon, Baylor), even when they had Narduzzi.
