OT: Fantasy Football

So my team went HAM this week.

I have Julio Jones, Larry Fitzgerald, Latavius Murray, Leveon Bell, Peyton, Flacco, and Zona's D. All went crazy and scored a ton of points.

And I lost. By one fucking point.

My opponent has AJ Green, Cobb, J Randle, and D Freeman. I was winning by 48 going into last nights game, then Cobb scores THREE TDs, and Alex Smith gets 15 garbage time points.

I hate fantasy football, I hate it with all my heart.

I watched this all afternoon yesterday to come away with winning only $20 on this $2 bet.

Does that mean you were winning at one point (and would have won $25K) but ended up lower on the list and only won $20?

Yes, it rips your heart out...i play draft kings because it's better in baseball than fan duel. The football is the same.

I've played the last three weeks in the million dollar guarantee and was winning over $1,000 at one point and ended up with like $40 on a $3 wager. It'll mess with your mind, patience, temper, blood pressure, marriage...etc.

Yes. I ended up scoring over 191 points with this team, which on a normal week may win it, but too many players went HAM this week and the winning teams scored about 250 points.

Damn that sucks Wang. Tough way to lose, always sucks when you've the #2 team and lose to the #1 team(I'm guessing you two were top 2).

And damn, Shane! Pretty cool you were at #1 at one point. Sucks it didn't stay there. You guys play any H2H on them or just do the tourney?

I normally just play the tournaments. I prefer to play for a chance at winning a substantial amount of money, if I do pick the right lineup.

Yeah, we were top two scorers by a wide margin.

One guy scored like 160, another 130 and the rest were barely at 100 or lower.

Dez Bryant and Donte Moncrief were dropped overnight in my league.... I don't have a choice but to pick them up, do I?
I didn't make a move on waivers because I wasn't in any real need, and I wanted to see who might be dropped. I think I have to pick them up... Dropping Davante Adams and Baldwin.

Thoughts?

Yes to Dez Bryant for sure. Keep him on your bench and hope your team is in the playoff race when it gets back. Then you have a elite WR added to your roster late in the year.

I would add Moncrief also. Looks like he is taking over the #2 spot in Indy.

Adams has been a bust and looks like Cobb/Jones own the two spots there. Seattle passing game is just up/down too much.

My thoughts exactly. I'm sitting pretty good right now at WR with Beckham Jr., Hopkins, J. Mathews, and J. Brown., but don't think I should pass the opportunity to nab both of them now.
I should have a good chance at the playoffs, I believe. I should be 3-0 right now had I not got stupid and sat the Cardinals defense for Baltimore's in week 2.

Who dropped Moncrief in your league??? Unless they are STACKED at WR, that was dumb.

I would absolutely pick up both.

Dez will be back sooner than expected.

Moncrief is a solid WR3, and is better than Adams or Baldwin, especially in Indy's pass heavy offense.

I picked Moncrief up before last week.

I picked Moncrief up before last week.

He's loaded at WR... J. Jones, Sanders, S.Smith Sr., and K. Allen. He needed room to add a QB to fill in for Big Ben.
I thought picking up Moncrief was kind of a no brainer and since I have room with dead weight, Dez should still be a top WR even with Weedon for a few games, when he gets going again.
