Really unreal how far Texas has fallen... currently getting worked by California.  Sad truth is Black Coaches get a shorter leash (see Ty Willingham compared to Charlie Weis) especially in texas, and this teams shows no fight or improvement.   Who will be Texas's next coach?  THey are perhaps another bad hire away from not recovering for a very long time with TCU and Baylor both taking recruits.

On a side note, USC is currently losing to Stanford... that would be cool after NW just beat them.

I wonder if they aren't getting the same talent (which I find hard to believe) or if they just aren't being coached well. Either way, I kind of enjoy their suffering given their arrogance during the conference realignment a few years back. Those @ss bags basically wanted the keys to the kingdom of any conference they moved to. They can suffer w/ mediocrity as far as I'm concerned. The especially painful part for the Longhorn fans is while their team is in decline their big in state rival (TAMU) is on the rise.

Strong has never been that good, that is why UF never considered him HC material. Even at UL, the best thing that happened to him was Shannon got fired at UM, take Bridgewater and the others off his teams, and he is still there going 7-5 every year
