I'm happy Hyde will get his chance. Not 100% he will make me forget about Frank Gore. Was hoping Gore would retire and go out as a niner. Hard to see him play elsewhere. The dude was a warrior and had an amazing career for a RB. Carlos Hyde has a lot to do if he wants to overtake that.


I watched Patrick Willis press conference. Going to miss him. HOF. HOF. HOF. Love him. One of my favorites of all time. Didn't think he would retire this young but good for him. He is looking at his life after football and making the best decision for himself. Can't blame him for that. Will miss him being the LEADER of this 49ers team.


We signed Torrey Smith. Happy but not big on $8 mil per year. We needed to give Kap a deep threat WR. Smith is that even if he struggles doing the other things. Boldin/Smith combo now that Flacco had for little while. They play well off each other. If we could just have one more target step up.


Going to be tough though. The NFC West is no joke. We need Kaepernick to make a huge jump. This is his team now and all the pressure is on him.
