Lol! Glad I picked up and played Miami defense this week.
The Browns have no running game, their best receiver who isn't suspended is out with a concussion, and the guy playing center for them looked like Akeel Lynch trying to block Joey Bosa on the game ending play vs PSU several times today, I mean planted flat on his backside.
I am not optimistic.

It is fun to see these games mean more than they have in the past. I think the Bungles win, but are still not an elite team. They are a missed 36 yarder and a tipped pass from being 4-4

NFL is full of parity...look at SD, they looked unbeatable and now they're more than beatable. Not sure how they were doing so well initially. Cincy is loaded on the offensive side, their crutch is Dalton...dude gets frazzled any time pressure comes. Not sure what happened to the defense as well...getting healthy in the secondary sure didn't help. With that said, Cincy SHOULD be able to play with anyone with all their talent. If they miss the playoffs, you have to clean house on the coaching side...

Good point on SD, but that win over SEA is looking less sexy than it was at the time too. And yeah, Dalton is the wild card here. For as good as he can look at times, he still tends to stare down receivers too much, and he seems too eager at times to just throw the ball up for grabs rather than take a sack. I keep waiting for him to get over those two flaws.

How long is Dalton guaranteed? Just through this year? I actually have seen some improvement in him but he still reeks of inconsistency.

This is definitely true. Maybe 6-8 guys that are top notch, a few more that are above average to pretty good and then a lot of average to below average guys.

I get it, but he has been horrible in the red zone this year and when facing tougher teams folds like a lawn chair. I have no faith in the guy to do anything.
BTW - is Bernard going to play this week? I picked up Hill hoping he would be the work horse again (6 of my 15 players in FF are on byes this week!!! suck!)

Dalton's contract is also incentive based and back loaded so the Bengals can bail out if they want to. I HATED the contract at first (and I am not a Bengals fan) but after reading more about it I think it's a good contract.
Dalton is the Bengals best option right now. He is better than any back up out there, and is probably in the bottom part of the top half of QBs in the NFL right now. He isn't going to win you many games, but he isn't going to lose you many either.
The problem is he is never going to lead the Bengals to the promise land. His biggest strength is he is smart and normally makes good decisions, but so far in the playoffs he seems to play too tight and then makes bad choices.
