Will the Bucks even make the NCAAs?

This is very possible, and yet hard to fathom. If they don't get sharp, they will be playing in the NIT!!


It's difficult to put to words....going from a 15-0 record and being ranked #3....................to missing the DANCE. The Buckeyes may set a new record, and it's one we won't want to remember.

Last year Kentucky started out #3 (they had won the tournament the year before). They ended up not making the NCAA, although they didn't run out to 15-0 either.

We started out 15-0 against some really crappy teams. Our biggest OOC win was probably to Marquette who is now 12-9, or maybe Maryland who is now 13-9. The only bright spot so far this year was taking Michigan State to overtime in East Lansing. And that was a combination of MSU not being able to slow the tempo down after they got out to 17-pt lead, and us not giving up on defense.

Ok, I guess we do have one quality win. I didn't realize we won at Wisconsin.

Wisky may be just as bad as us... But either way had we beaten PSU this would be a much different story. Then our only losses would be @ Nebraska (bad but not ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE), @ MSU, @ Minnesota, and vs. Iowa.

As I said in the game thread, if Ohio State were to beat Wisky, they put themselves in great position. They did just that.

They now sit at 17-5 and 4-5 in the Big 10, that is TIED for 5th in gig 10.

They have 9 games left. 9.
1 vs MSU, 1 @ Iowa, 1 vs UM. That is it against the top teams.

If Ohio State can go 6-3 the rest of the way in the regular season, finish 23-8, 10-8 in the Big 10, which would be good for 4th/5th in Big 10, they will be a solid NCAA tourney team(#5/#6 seed most likely).

They just have to play like they did today.

@ Iowa on Tuesday. If Ohio State could win @ Iowa on Tuesday, they would put themselves in an even better position. Would put themselves in position to fight back for top 3 team in B10.

They needed a big road win and they got it. Of course, if Wisky keeps sliding it may not look as good down the road.

We need to beat the scumbags at home and win the rest of the games we should win.

Aaaaaaaaargh! I was at the bowling alley today trying to avoid the scores when I accidentally saw one of the flat screens on the way to the bathroom. I saw 8 seconds left on the clock, the bucks had a 1pt lead, and the other team was getting the ball. Faawk......I never did see who won until I got home, but I couldn't make myself watch the game knowing what I knew....so I FF to the last 8 seconds to see how it finished. Yep...I agree...a win at the Kohl center is good stuff.




PS...I had a good day bowling too. I bowled 17 games....high game was 261 and a 210.3 average Little_Buck had a few 200+ games averaged 182..a good day for him too!
