Buckeyes get a commit from visitor this past weekend

Not the FB team though. Or Men BB team. It was the women BB team who got a commit from Asia Doss who was at the OSU game last night. She is another top 100 prospect(4*) in the 2014 class, from Detroit Michigan, PG.


Coach McGuff is putting up a huge class in his first year as a Head Coach. He now has 5 commits, 4 of them are in the top 75(3 in top 50). He still has room for a couple more also. Look for the women BB program to start looking like the FB & Men BB program.

"The visit was great. I thought it was nice that two of my guests were allowed field and recruit room access. It was pretty cool to see LeBron pretty close in front of me too. I loved the intensity of the game and the insane fan base amplified it even more. I couldn't believe how loud it was and how many fans were there."


"There were a lot of us at the game, which was cool. We all met up and went to the pregame speech by LeBron and Coach Meyer, which was awesome. We all then got to walk into the stadium with the team and just hung out and got pictures together. The atmosphere was amazing and I really enjoyed the game."

Every visitors said their visit was great. That is what you want to hear. Ohio State class is pretty full right now, they have guys they want IN this class but those guys have already said they will not announce till closer to signing day. From all reports, it was an A++++ day for Ohio State prospects.

And here we go, possibly. 2014 5* Center Goodluck Okonoboh is making his decision tomorrow on ESPNU. Would be a huge commit for Ohio State, best shot blocker in 2014 class, visited Ohio State this past Saturday for the Wisconsin game. He is down to Indiana, UNLV, and Ohio State. Indiana was the favorite for the most time, now there are about 1,000 different reports. Some are saying UNLV is leading, others are saying Ohio State is the favorite, some believe Indiana still is the team.

Will find out tomorrow though, here is hoping his visit on Saturday was good enough to get him to Ohio State!!!

I've read a few tweets from so called recruiting experts that say we are going to land the kid. IU had the inside track for a long time, but supposedly OSU and UNLV passed them by.

Whatever. I'll believe we get him when it comes from his mouth.

There were some medical miracles in his story. First of which was that his father survived the shooting, But secondly was that his mother carried him in her stomach. I'm not sure why she didn't carry him in her uterus, like most expectant mothers would. But I can't wait to hear him tell *that* story.
