Two Spartans leave football team

EAST LANSING -- Two Michigan State football players are no longer practicing with the team, associate athletic director for sports information John Lewandowski just announced.

Junior safety Roderick Jenrette, who had been getting rave notices for his physical play, has been asked to take an indefinite leave of absence to address a personal matter, Lewandowski said. Jenrette was listed as the starting free safety on the preseason depth chart.

And, sophomore safety Enrique Shaw has voluntarily left the football team.

No further details were given.

While MSU provided media access to a few players and defensive line coach Ted Gill and offensive line coach Dan Roushar, coach Mark Dantonio did not meet with the media today.

osunds liek coach D is takign care of business. MSU scares the crap out of me. they are gonna be much improved, and only get better over the next couple years. espically with scum going to RR's Offense. the more traditional type players might be tempted to go to MSU instead...

It's not going to happen. MSU will find new ways to give you the game. They don't like to win. ;D Michigan is still Michigan. You should be scared of RR new offense. I guarantee you that you won't see what you had seen in WV. He definitely has more weapons at his disposal. And I don't want to hear about the quarterback situation. Michigan has enough QB's to do the job. You will see a hell of a lot more passing at Michigan than what he did at UWV.

I understand it puts you in a hard spot, being a scum fan and all, but sorry dude your tema is gonna suck untill he's gone. but you are right about one thing, its not the QB's fault... assuming you find one.



Maybe you can steal some high school athleats from Ohio, some 4 stars that we don't have room for and be competative with 75% of the Big Ten, just like Penn State.
