Academics might be a rather embarrassing problem at one particular rival school that is getting ready for a bowl game, but it looks like the Florida Gators will have few if any issues now that the grade period has ended. As he waits for the final official report, Coach Urban Meyer believes that all the Gators are good to go academically and once again the Gators have one of the highest grade point averages (GPA) ever recorded by the team.
Great work Urban. Keeping all of the players on the field for the bowl season says alot.
By my last statement, YES, that was a knock towards FSU. Their number of suspendees is now 34!!!
Let me repeat... 34!!! FSU Players suspended for academic reasons!!!
WHY doesn't the NCAA do something sooner? Bowden has lost all his recruiting power in the state of Florida, so he is forced to recruit the talent that can perform in the classroom. He is afraid to recruit the smart kid that he can "Coach up" because he might not even be able to do that either! This FSU staff needs to be imploded!

AJC said 36 this morning. And they say they won't give up anyone's redshirt for the bowl game.
