Well it seems that way, but who knows? Martin might back down if he can't get anyone he really wants and this could also be a big smokescreen.

Miles isn't stupid. He isn't going to say he is leaving his team, right before a SECCG, or right before a NC game. He would be stupid if he did. He said he would stay to get the attention off him for a while. But after the season is over, Michigan will offer him a contract he cant refuse, with all the other reasons for him to go there, he will be a Wolverine, Again...

i voted that he stays. but i got shaky about it. there's more to this - i agree that it's probably not over.

I think he goes now....no matter what he's saying about staying. if he wasn't at least still considering it, why would he leave the TTUN buy-out clause in his new contract?

I asked this same question last week in another thread.

Smitty informed me that it was LSU that insists on the buyout clause, not Miles.

Apparently if Miles accepts a job anywhere else, he doesn't have to pay LSU anything.

Just heard on the radio that Rodriguez from WVU is meeting with TTUN today in Toledo! And when I did a little search lookie what I found!

RR's buyout for leaving WVU before 2010 is being reported in some places as 4 million and in others as 2.5 million. And you can bet that if he does leave, Slaton and White are as good as gone to the NFL.
