The big deal is you are focusing on the fact that he is Jewish. There is no reason to reference that in this instance unless you are attempting to be derogatory by doing so.

When someone is saying negative things about someone and they reference race, sexual preference, religious affiliation, etc it is ALWAYS going to be deemed as a slight at that group. Otherwise, what is the point of even bringing that up? You could just as easily said what you did and leave "Jew" out of it and had the same effect.

So if he was Polish, and I called him a Polish cock sucker, that is just as bad?

Ha, ok. Guess I am not as sensitive as most.

Now back to "this guy". I am still shocked he is alive....and still shocked at how badly the NCAA botched that whole investigation. If UM had any balls, they would have sued the NCAA, and asked to be awarded the revenue they would have received for the bowl games.

One of the people I saw in the preview said it best. The worst punishment Miami had in all of this was having to wait THREE years to know what the punishment would be.

Miami should love the NCAA. If there investigators weren't so inept Miami could very well be the second school to be given the death penalty. They got off so easy.

And the NCAA investigation committee is a freaking joke. There is no consistency, and they are terrible at their jobs. The media does a better job of info gathering than they do.

I can see why people said that, but a ton of what HE said was found out to be total BS. The biggest issue I had was what two former coaches did. Hill and Haith should have been kicked out of college athletics for a long time. Also, Olivier Vernon got what he deserved, as he was by far the worst of the players as far as judgment goes. However, in the light of day, a hand full of players taking small amounts of cash is hardly worth the death penalty, especially since most of the crazy things HE said would have not held water in a full investigation.

Disagree slightly. Polish is a nationality. If he called him a pollack cock sucker, that would be bad.

Most people are proud of their nationality.
