Talent and determination Won't suffice, mate. Watch the lines, your big slow ugly guys against a banged up Wisky; our speedy, high-jumping giants against the Illini [/quote]
Unfortunately, we may have to wait until we get our SEC coach to recruit some speed. You're right that we have even less than you do (and you don't have enough to play some SEC teams). On the other hand, I'll give a little more credence to talent and determination when it comes to our skill players than you do

Colsbeng, I'll give to Man-in-hand (cuffs) Hart (-ly can keep his mouth shut) and Henne. They all should make solid pros. Beyond that I am underwhelmed.
You're not convincing me that you've seen much Buckeye fball. The Bucks O has some seriously underrated skill spots. Accolades are just starting. Robiskie, Hartline, Beanie, Saine, Ballard, Nicol, Small. Boeckman improves week by week. It really is hard to decide which of these guys is more likely to burn scUM, although my money is on Beanie and Robiskie.
Despite all that talent, I'll gladly take superb, overwhelming line play any day versus the skill spots (and I do not think scUM have the advantage in any skill category except experience). Right now, we have the superior lines.
And oh yea, let's just set coaching preparation and game adjustments aside for the moment when we talk about advantages, shall we?
Watch this weekend. Neither of our upcoming games is a lock. Compare line play. Then let's talk Monday. I get both games here too. Clearly, I'll have my own opinions to share.

You have to also include Jake Long in that group of future NFL'ers. He'll go Top Five.
Adrian Arrington, too. Defensively ... *shakes head* No one I see until Donavan Warren. Perhaps Shawn Crable, too.

Yea, they're quality. All of 'em should/might make good pros.
Don't mistake me though, I was referring strictly to the O skill spots. Long is one of the best O linemen in the country. Unfortunately for TTUN, he's a pretty lonely guy.
Arrington, while dangerous, just seems fairly ordinary to me. I heard he's turned it on when Man-in-hand was MIA in the past. But he's just not an A player in the games I've watched. Still, I recognize that statement could come back to haunt me. His game can elevate. Just not enough to beat us.
Donovan Warren- you have me there. I just can't comment but he sounds like the real deal. Looking forward to watching him tomorrow. Crable... well, what can you say. Maybe the word is "inconsistent". If the dude played every down...
I actually think if someone burns OSU this year from the scUM skill spots, it probably will be Henne. Will he play tomorrow? What is the word?

dumb to be excited and run off the field? I'd blame adrenaline over anything else. and though Henne has not done everything expected of him, his toughness can't really be questioned.

This is the same Michigan Team that many picked to go to the NC. The are solid on offense and if the defense shows up they can play with anybody.
I'm worried as they have every motivation factor in their court. I would fear them less if they were unbeaten and rated #1 in the country.
If we do not play our best game of the year and have some good breaks this could be a killer of a game.
Our talent has jelled quicker then anybody ever thought possible. That senior motivation on the Michigan side is an intangible that we will have to overcome to pull this out.
