It is with the utmost sincerity and respect that I wish your team good luck on Saturday. Good luck in terms of even and honest play, no injuries, no referee interference and no 'monkey business.'

It is with the same sincerity that I want MICHIGAN to win!! ;D


But as has been discussed a lot recently on this board - we have all come to post in a civil and respectful way ... regardless of background.

So the combined 4 losses b/w our programs this year (how's that for SPIN) does not take away from THE GAME. Frankly, I was hoping Illinois would lose and that a more unsuspecting team (if possible given it's The Game) were coming into Ann Arbor to play the lowly and flailing Wolverines.

But no - come Henne, Hart, Mallett or Minor the Game will be played as it is every year - with starters or without. With unbeaten records on the line or without!

It is still the GAME and although I respect and admire you all ... it is what it is ...

GO BLUE!! Conjuring the ghosts of 1969 to rise up again in Ann Arbor!!

I feel the same way! With my bro-in-law Buckeye at the house along with a Spartan and a few other BigTen alum (including a stinkin' Badger) on Saturday for the kid's 1st Birthday I tried my darndest to offer sympathy for the loss to Illinois (after our loss) and the ensuing scuffle at mid-field. And though Michigan may "suck" ... it would be an incredibly large bitter horse pill to swallow if osu loses.

You seem to have a very personal hatred towards Mike Hart. I can say I have disliked many a-Buckeye over the years, but not in the way you seem to hate a guy who otherwise is pretty well likeable. I mean, he's just a little dude with a BIG HEART and a totally F**KED up ankle.

Truth: I want my team in the Rose Bowl. Besides, I think the weather in Florida is better suited for thawing out the Michigan fans.

He is cocky and I like to let my actions talk louder than my mouth. I'd hate him if he was a Buckeye - i.e. David Boston.

You know what ... I really don't want to see MICHIGAN go back to the Rose Bowl in some ways. Heck, the team typically does quite well against the SEC in Bowl games and personally, I am in Pasadena enough!

But *heck* if I have to go back I will!

That's fair - his mouth was never an issue until just after The Game last year and after MSU this year. But he talked big before Notre Dame and held up to his end of the bargain.
