I don't bet on anything related to The Game. The Game is yearly spiritual event for me. Llllloyd is related to The Game. So I don't bet on his actions.
A "wolverine" is nasty, smelly, disagreeable creature that will eat almost anything, including roaches and rotting stuff. It is, in fact, a member of the weasel family. They have those faint stripes because they are the only creatures on god's green earth who like your helmets so they genetically altered themselves to look strange.

They are also the most vicious animals relative to their size in North America. They are not capable of being tamed and they go after their prey with tenacity
And I love the stripes (both on the animal and on the helmets)

(from Merriam-Webster online) Vicious: 1: having the nature or quality of vice or immorality : depraved 2: defective, faulty; also : invalid 3: impure, noxious
"Most vicious" shee-at! Two years ago I sat next to a 'woman' on a bus that was so nasty that if they met, the mother-of-all wolverines would immediately piss its fur suit, roll over, and beg for a mercy killing.
This loving the helmet thing, well, there is just no response to that...

They'll probably eat obscure nuts too.
It would be easy to say something like 'well, eat these obscure nuts' (ba-da-bump) but I won't. Besides I've heard the obscure nuts to which you allude taste so horrible that you're not helping your case with this point, only adding relative intelligence to the debate items.

But you don't really want to go there.
I never before heard anybody claim that a real wolverine was intelligent. Vicious, nasty, smelly, tenacious, reclusive, persistent, omnivorous, powerful, ugly (make that butt-ugly), yes, I've heard all those previously claimed. But intelligent? That would be a first.
Or do I detect that old scUM pride peaking out from the weeds??? Remember, my skunk weasel-loving rivals, there is an old saying about what follows "pride"...

Of course, it depends on what you mean by a "real" Wolverine. I was definitely talking about the two-legged variety in this case.
And yes, I get disagreement from some of my UM cohorts, but I myself always admit to some skunk weasel pride (often known among Bucknutz as skunk weasel "arrogance"). It may be genetic but is definitely fed by environmental factors (i.e. it's hard to avoid noticing what a great university U of M really is <g>).
MSU's coach already addressed us quite sternly about what follows "pride." We'll add your warning to his for consideration.

Well, for me the chatter is over, ladies. It's been fun. Fichigan weekend has officially begun in England.
Now I can only wish all of you sc-alUMni well. It truly is the greatest rivalry in sports. I've seen a few reputed ones on this side of the earth too. No comparisons, only pretenders...
So, we Buckeyes have you sorry, pimpled-assed skunk weasels (sorry, I'm trying to contain myself!) to thank.
I hope your players are healthy. I hope your heroes play well. I hope your families are fine and enjoying life. I certainly hope you lose. But good luck anyway.

Tough Game, colsbeng, crofty and other respected s weasels on this board. Your guys played like warriors. Henne's arm just wasn't there. Same for Manningham mit's. We had a lot of dropped balls too. So the weather musta been a factor.
If "this is it" for Lllllloyd, then I will ceremonially rout for your team during the bowl game, just this once. The man deserves to go out with a win after all he's done.
Anyway I hope you are not too down today. Here's to hoping you shake it off quickly.

A painful, tough day for us skunk weasels, but I for one will shake it off a lot quicker than the loss to you-know-who
The Buckeyes spanked us once again. It stings once again. The Nutz defense was awesome and their offense did enough. Our offense was injured and tried to play anyway.
Our coach is sadly going out with a loss to his nemisis. I sure won't turn down any support we get in winning Lloyd's last bowl game. I agree he deserves to leave on a winning note. Plus, I want Michigan to do SOMETHING this year to support the reputation of the Big Ten
