I take consolation in the fact that we had a chance until Threet got injured and R2 had to put in the walk-on freshman who promptly gave up a safety and everything went downhill from there. Even though the trainer let Threet come back in the game, his elbow on his throwing arm was still numb (and it was too late then anyway).
