The bengans have been doing this for a long time.......... I saw them play a charity BB game back in the early 80's. I remember Pete Johnson was playing......the dude had some BB skills. I think he could dunk to which is impressive for a guy that heavy.
For those of you who are not familiar with Graham High School, it is in Champaign County, Ohio in a town called St. Paris, a small farming community. They have a very strong wrestling program, winning numerous state championships and 2 National Championships (2007 and 2010)
Every spring there is a game planned between our county "All Stars" and several players from the Bengals (usually practice squad members) The proceeds go to Dayton Children's Hospital.
It usually is a blow out in the Bengals favor, but tonight they only won by 2. The best part is that when the Bengals are fowled, they pull little kids out of the crowd and let them shoot. It is great entertainment and usually a ton of fun.
At half time, the players sign autographs and have pictures taken. Todd was great. My son and I had a great time and met a Former Buckeye QB and Ickey Woods too! Great night.
Some additional St. Paris Graham info. The head wrestling coach is Jeff Jordan. He was a 2x All American from the University of Wisconsin. He and his older brother graduated from St Paris in their H.S days and were the 2nd and 3rd 4x state wrestling champions in Ohio history. His older brother you MIGHT have heard of...Jim Jordan. Jim was a 2x NCAA champion for the University of Wisconsin. Jim is now one of the senators from Ohio on the US Senate. I know both Jim and Jeff. Two great guys.
