LSU's Perrilloux suspended/ quits the team?

LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux, considered the Tigers' future with the departure of Matt Flynn, has again been suspended by LSU coach Les Miles.

Perrilloux, filling in for an injured Flynn, was the Tigers' starting quarterback and earned MVP honors in their victory over Tennessee in the SEC championship game. But he has had some off-the-field incidents, including a previous suspension from the football team.

"Ryan has been suspended indefinitely due to his failure to follow team rules," Miles said.

LSU QB Ryan Perrilloux has suspended indefinitely for "missing class and team activities", as reported by WWL-AM's Deke Bellavia.

"As of right now, Ryan Perrilloux is not on the LSU Football Team. Whether or not he will be let back on the team or not... we hope to find that out in the next few days," reported Bellavia.

Also:
WDSU-TV in New Orleans is reporting the rumors that Perrilloux quit the team, but -- so far -- there's no comment from Perrilloux or the Tigers

Like I said eariler... Ryan Perrilloux is a straight up piece of sh!t.

How many times has this kid been suspended? He hasn't even been in school an entire year yet! There was trouble before he got to school, then more trouble during football season, and now this. Easygeaux, surely this isn't the Quarterback you want at LSU leading your team? Better than Matt Flynn also? At least Matt was a standup kid.

I'll reserve judgement until all the facts come out. The kids father did just die last week so perhaps there is a little more to the story. There has certainly be some questionable/poor decisions made by Ryan , but again I'll wait to pass judgement. Thank god we have an unbelievable running back core set for next year because would could be more dependent on it than anticipated.

Pryor has always wanted to stay close to home (PA) so LSU & Oregon don't & really never did have a chance.....

It's still OSU in the lead IMO and then Penn State....from what I'm hearing, SCum is totally out of the mix....who wants to be the star player surrounded by losers in Ann Arbor anyhow???

I understand that... But LSu knew of his problems before the season started. Still got him, then he fight at the night club (which he shouldnt have even been in), and now this. He is just a freshman too.

I just can't tolerate kids that throw away opprotunity. Including one of my own. Marcus Thomas last year. Arguably the best DL in the SEC last year. Got booted off the team for habitual Marijuana use. If you are getting free education, and it said I couldnt smoke, or drink, or go out to parties with alcohol... By God I would turn Mormon. To Play a GAME? This guys just don't know how easy they have it.
