You want to talk about a guy who could be much better and should be, that is Sam Thompson. Dude can jump but averages less than 3RPG on a team that struggles to rebound. There are games he shows he can be great but games where he shows all he can do on offense is a dunk.
That is a guy who is not getting the most out of his ability. I love Thompson but dude should be a 13PPG/6RPG guy easily already.
Amir/McDonald 2 fouls each first half. Nothing new. Against a team missing their best post player. LOL. And they don't rebound.

That post had nothing to do with Ross. Do you think Thompson is as good as he can be? A guy that is 6-7(same size as Ross), can jump higher than any player in CBB, starter, averages as many min as everyone but Craft, averages 7.6PPG and 2.8RPG. This dude was high 4* coming in. Also a junior.
Scout Ross 4* #12SF. Thompson 4* #15SF. Rivals Ross 4* #13SF. Thompson 4* #16SF.
That is all I'm saying. Everyone is hard on Ross but he was rated the same as Thompson coming into Ohio State at the same time. One guys has turned himself into a very good starter. The other has games here and there.
The only players below Ross coming in were McDonald/ADV. Everyone else was rated almost the same or better(scott/Amir). So I'm just saying him & Craft have turned themselves into legit B10 players. The others haven't eevn though they were rated saem talent level coming in.

Me 2. He was always on here. Since he came back, he doesn't come on as much.
Ross FT shooting sucks. No excuse there. Like I said should be 80%. He is at 72% or so? His handles & FT shooting. Improve those and he is a 20+PPG scorer, just like Thomas.
Amir would count if he wasn't so tentative all the time, especially on offense.
True. As I said, he has the talent. McDonald was a waste of a scholarship, I wonder if they offered him because he played on the same team as Amir. He is a waste.
Ohio State has at least 1 scholarship open for next year, they probably will not get a commit. They need to find a 5th year transfer or JUCO Center/PF to take McDonald spot.
