Players need to step up and get better. Just that. Shoot 1,000 FT after practice is over. Shoot FT when they wake up.

Stand at the FT line and shoot them. It is the easiest thing to do in basketball. You stand at the line, wide open, and shoot. Make them, that easy.

Hardly the same analogy...it is extremely difficult to put the bat on a 90 mph object and/or having to place a bunt in a perfect spot to force a defender to make a decision on which base to throw to...

Let alone standing by yourself 10 ft from the hoop uncontested...completely different.

It's much easier than trying to hit a moving object at 90mph...and there's a higher % at ft than laying bunts down why is OSU below the average each year?

I don't know.

TO me, people now a days care more about dunking and dribbling between the legs before practicing FTs. If I had a son, and I wanted him to play basketball, I would make him work on it the first day he can start shooting from FT range. And learning how to dribble with his off hand.

I'd like to see some numbers today compared to 10-15 years ago.

But OSU is beliw average each year and that's a problem that needs addressed.
