GaBuckeye, my thoughts exactamente, dude!!! Things could hold up for us the next 2-4 years. Very exciting. I doubt Pryor will walk away from that, no matter where they position him.
I have heard nothing like that. He seems to be a smart kid, with a good head on his shoulders. Nice highschool. I'll see what I can find, from some, "sources".

I read some local PA papers while in Pennsylvania visiting family during the state HS football champ weekend. from all accounts he's a good kid from a decent school and a "teammate first" as I recall one quote.
We tend to get rather cynical these days about some of these kids -- heck, take a look at "overall #1" Jimmy C - squeaky clean ND boy who turns out can't play D-I football afterall. Just as I think not all "mobile QB's" are thugs.
But with Rodriguez in at UM, the synergy of his offense and Pryor's skills I'd have to say my opinion of him tends to want to find the good. But if it is true about academics ... well, academics at Michigan are different than at "other" schools.

If Pyror choses Meatchicken for academics he's really daft
No, no ... the remark was made that rumors had Pryor experiencing "academic problems" or challenges with getting in to some programs(?) I don't think it's true from what I have read about the kid in both local PA papers and on national sites like Rivals. My joke was simply that if he does indeed have "academic challenges," he'd be looking at schools besides Michigan because of easier admissions.

Yeah, again I feel I should state that what I heard about academics was not from a credible source. Frankly, if it is true then I don't know that he could play at any of the schools on his current short list.
At this point, I would guess that Pryor is looking to see where he would get playing time the earliest. We don't know if Pryor would beat out Mallet at Michigan (RichRod also has run passing offenses). I doubt Tressel would bench Boeckman for Pryor but he would probably have a chance to beat out Henton and Schoenhoft next year. Florida has a good stockpile of QBs as Andy has pointed out. Oregon seems to be hurting there but it is a loooong trip for him.

I quit then ... I guess. But will drop in this little nugget from the lips of TPryor himself:
"He [RR] said, 'I just want to let you know before you hear the stuff on ESPN and on TV, I'm taking the Michigan job.' That's what he said, and I appreciate him calling me and saying all that stuff. That's why I'm following him and Michigan is on my list."
On whether immediate playing time is important to him: "No, I don't have to play immediately. I just want to get in and check it out and see what's going on, maybe get a little taste. But if I have to, I'll jump in there and do the best I can to try to help my team win."
